Seed Starting Workshop
It is such a treat to be able to plant seeds indoors before they can be planted outside. If you'd like to get a head start on your flower garden and experience the satisfaction of growing your own seeds then I've got you covered! There is no gardening experience required, because you'll be "getting the dirt" on all the steps. :)
In the Seed Starting Workshop, I'll be sharing the seed starting techniques that I use to grow thousands of beautiful and healthy flowers (and veggies too).
We will share some fresh coffee and scones as we learn about using frost dates in order to make a seed starting plan.
Then we will actually start our choice of seeds- you'll have several varieties to choose from: sweet peas, snapdragons, bachelor's button, love-in-a-mist, celosia, cosmos, scabiosa, and MORE!
You'll leave with a tray full of planted seeds as well as information on:
- How to care for seeds and seedlings as they mature
- How and when to transplant seedlings outdoors in the garden
- Steps for continued care and harvesting the beautiful blooms
The workshop will be held Saturday, March 23rd at 11 in the Flower Shoppe at our home/garden location. This workshop is truly for gardeners with any level of experience.
I am so excited to start seeds with you!
